If you missed the 1998 World Cup, they recreated it in France last night*

YOU KNOW WE must be talking about a charity game when the (Real) Ronaldo bags himself a hat-trick in a 9-7 defeat at the hands of the St-Etienne Allstars but who doesn’t love a chance to see ageing superstars recreate their glory days with a host of show-boating and the odd worldy thrown in?

Last night, St-Etienne hosted a ‘Match Against Poverty’ with the likes of Zinedine Zidane, Youri Djorkaeff, Frank De Boer and, of course, Ronaldo taking part.
